New Curse Lineup Shows Promise

Thursdays night National ESL cup in North America finally showed some life. Sporting a full display of 10 teams, considering last month’s turn outs this was a successful week in Shootmania! Former HRG, now Curse swept the top bracket, and vVv had an easy run through the bottom bracket to meet Curse in the finals.

vVv has been missing in the scene for a small period here, but could not get their coordination back together to defeat Curse in the finals and defend their title. The new Curse roster has now won two consecutive weeks now and looked primed to continue the streak. With the decline in competitive teams in the American circuit we may see NESL pull away from the region and shift their attention towards the European scene. If that happened it would be a major blow to NA competition but, the season is still in progress and with some luck things will make a turn for the better.
